About Lindsay Mulic
With the cost of a transplant often exceeding $500,000, many transplant patients are unable to shoulder the financial burden of such a procedure. The Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) is a national charity dedicated to organizing and guiding communities in raising funds for transplant-needy patients. In San Jose, volunteers are raising funds for transplant patients like local woman Lindsay Mulic.
Born on October 17, 1982, Lindsay was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis, and doctors at Stanford University Medical Center in Palo Alto, California performed a life-saving lung transplant on May 2, 2009. An estimated $55,000 is being raised by San Jose volunteers.
We are all working now to get fundraisers lined up so that people can donate. You can also donate here on the website and every little bit helps. Check out the blogs for updates on Lindsay whenever you want. Her and I will keep it updated often. Thank you all for your support!
